Key Responsibilities
Localization Quality Assurance
- Ensure accurate localization of in-game text, UI elements, promotional content, and community materials across English, Chinese, Thai, and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Review and validate localized content to ensure consistency, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to brand tone.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with external translation vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Provide feedback to translators and localization partners to refine and improve language quality.
- Work closely with game designers, developers, and marketing teams to align localization needs with the game’s vision and narrative.
Project Management & Workflow Optimization
- Manage localization schedules, ensuring all translations are delivered on time for game updates, launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, and Community) to prioritize localization needs and streamline workflow.
- Maintain a translation database and style guides to ensure consistency across all languages.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English & Chinese (both written and spoken)
- Strong project management skills – ability to manage multiple localization projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with localization vendors or managing translation workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail – ability to identify inconsistencies and localization issues.
- Passion for the gaming industry – experience in game publishing, localization, or content management is a plus.
