Responsibilities:

As part of our sales team at Clearly Local, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth in the European market. Leveraging your expertise in selling language and localization services, you will engage with Enterprise customers and build strong, long-lasting partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • New Business Acquisition: Proactively seek out new business opportunities and lead the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators.
  • Networking: Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand your professional network and represent Clearly Local in the localization community.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of successful experience as a Business Development Manager, specifically selling language and localization services.
  • Sales Track Record: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs within the localization industry.
  • European Base: Based in Europe with flexibility to travel to meet clients and attend events.
  • Proactive: self-driven capable of identifying opportunities and taking initiatives.
  • Multilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English, and ideally fluent in a third language, such as French or German.
  • Remote Work: Comfortable with a full remote work setup and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, geographically distributed team.
