We are currently looking for a Localization Specialist to join our global team.
Your work is to provide localization services for the short commands/data sets by verifying the grammatical/pronunciation correctness of the provided linguistic data sets. The tasks may include voice recording, adjustments of the data set in a software tool, transcription of the provided data set, and other work related to localizing the provided content.
The above description encapsulates the process referred to as “ Prompt Tuning.” When Prompt Tuning is performed, it requires actual native speakers to do the work, as their accent would be that of someone who grew up in the targeted country, spoke the local language as a first language, and is acquainted with the speech as spoken currently in a country of interest every day.
Experience:
Experience is important, but it’s less about the years of experience and more about the skill set. A technical background is preferred, however (basic knowledge of, e.g., Notepad++, UX, Python, HTML, etc.). We are interested in people who can perform various tasks, but one of the important ones is Prompt Tuning. This requires excellent listening skills.
Requirements:
Localization experience is an asset
Work Load:
The weekly workload will vary depending on the task. Sometimes, there will be 20 hours per week for several weeks, and later, another task will require 2 hours/week. It is on a project-by-project basis.
Training:
Full training will be provided, and our project team will walk you through the process.
