We are currently looking for an excellent localization specialist for our fast growing organization.
We are seeking a skilled Chinese Linguist to focus on Traditional Chinese localization for Hong Kong and Taiwan.
This role involves translating, localizing, and adapting a wide range of content from English to Chinese to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to the brand’s tone across all target regions.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate and localize content into Traditional Chinese with cultural and linguistic precision.
- Proofread and review translations to ensure consistency in terminology, style, and tone across Traditional and Simplified Chinese outputs.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and project managers to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality translations.
- Research and implement region-specific terminology and market trends to maintain relevance.
- Handle a variety of content types, including marketing campaigns, UI/UX texts, press releases, legal documents, and social media posts.
- Provide input on localization workflows and strategies to improve efficiency and output quality.
Qualifications
Language Skills:
Native or near-native proficiency in Traditional Chinese and Advanced proficiency in English.
Experience:
2+ years of professional translation or localization experience, with a focus on Taiwan, Hong Kong markets.
Skills:
Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ, Lokalise) and other localization softwares.
Deep understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances in all three regions.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in crypto, tech, or finance industries.
Knowledge of SEO practices for localized content.
Background in content creation or copywriting in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
