Localization QA Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Localization QA Specialist with native-level proficiency in at least one language other than English. This role involves ensuring high-quality localized content for Commerce, Wallet, and Payment experiences in international markets. You will collaborate closely with localization project managers (LPMs), vendor testers, and other LQAs to maintain accuracy and consistency across all localized content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the localization quality assurance process for commerce-related content.
- Work with vendor testers to set quality expectations and manage linguistic issues across multiple languages and global markets.
- Ensure localized content is accurate, culturally relevant, and aligns with brand voice.
- Input and manage localized data across internal and vendor systems without errors.
- Collaborate with Localization Project Managers (LPMs) to keep localization projects on track.
- Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in a language other than English (native proficiency required).
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Localization QA experience is required; software QA experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Wallet, Payment, and Commerce domains in international markets.
- Experience with localization production workflows preferred.
- Knowledge of automation methods for localization workflows is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Localization experience in media-related domains (Apps, Music, TV, Movies).
- Previous experience with online production processes.
