Position Title: Game Project LQA (Localization Quality Assurance)

Overview:
The ILC Freelancer Platform Recruitment Team at Tencent is dedicated to content localization for Tencent Games Global. We have successfully localized over 50 games, including titles like Assassin’s Creed Jade, V Rising, Call of Duty Mobile, Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, and Nikke. We are currently seeking long-term freelancers with diverse localization skills, including translation, proofreading, and LQA, for various language pairs.
Target Languages:
We are looking for individuals with native-level proficiency in the following languages:
● Korean
● Japanese
● Arabic
● Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)
● English
● Indonesian
● Malay
● Thai
● Turkish
Key Responsibilities:
● Content Review: Evaluate and review localized game content, including text, user interfaces, and multimedia elements for accuracy and cultural relevance.
● Quality Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to translation teams to enhance the overall quality of localized content.
● Testing and Documentation: Conduct thorough testing of game builds to identify and document linguistic and cultural issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Qualifications:
● Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in at least one target language, and can use English/Chinese as work language additionally.
● Experience: Previous experience in localization quality assurance or related fields within the gaming industry is preferred.
● Gaming Knowledge: Strong understanding of game mechanics, terminology, and user experiences in video games.
● Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for linguistic and cultural nuances.
