Akulaku Indonesia is leading banking and digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, with a presence in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Akulaku exists to help meet the daily financial needs of underserved customers in emerging markets through digital banking, digital financing, digital investment, and insurance brokerage services.
Currently, we’re looking for a Mandarin Localization specialist, who is responsible for adapting and translating content (such as marketing materials, websites, and apps) into Mandarin, ensuring it resonates with local audiences. They will manage localization projects, collaborate with various teams to maintain consistent messaging, perform quality checks, and optimize content to align with cultural preferences and brand guidelines. Additionally, they will develop localization strategies and maintain guidelines to ensure high-quality and efficient content adaptation.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, ads, website/app content, and other product communication channels.
- Manage and execute end-to-end localization projects, including coordinating translation resources, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product, legal and compliance, developers, etc. to localized language, ensuring alignment and consistency in the core messages.
- Conduct linguistic reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure an accurate result that aligns with brand guidelines, cultural sensitivities, and preferences.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify, adapt, and optimize industry trends, localization tone, style of writing, and content for specific markets, considering factors such as language, imagery, symbols, and user experience to match different target demographics and brand personalities.
- Develop and maintain localization guidelines, glossaries, and style guides to ensure consistency and quality across localized content.
- Develop strategy to improve team knowledge, productivity, and efficiency
Requirements:
- Fluency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Indonesia both oral and written is a must → Min. HSK 4
- Business graduate (Master’s Degree will be a plus)
- Have experience as a Copywriter, Product Marketing, Business, Operation, or similar role, preferably in a technology, financial, e-commerce, or startup environment would be prefer
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and journey
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality assurance.
- Proficiency in crafting copy for various channels, including digital, print, social media, and email marketing.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
