Mandarin Translator

We are hiring a translator to join our project team. You will work alongside other Mandarin translators and report directly to the project manager. Your main tasks will include translating documents, Interpreting conversation, and other job that given by your supervisor. To succeed in this role you should have a natural understanding of mandarin and a good grasp of grammar.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities a translator is expected to assume in their position:

1. Translate content within documents, interpreting day to day dialoque
2. Maintain translation database
3. Provide quality assurance for the translation process
4. Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture
5. Engage with other departments to provide translation services
6. Implement feedback and changes whenever possible

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

Below are the qualifications expected of a translator:

1. Bachelor’s degree in communications or linguistics
2. Minimum1- 2 years experience in the translation field (Non experiences also welcomed to apply)
3. ⁠Proficiency in mandarin, english and Indonesia (Proven experience in translation and interpretation fintech company is a plus)
4. Ability to convert written materials into a second language
5. Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills
6. Fluency in at least two of the target languages will be advantages
7. Ability to work under tight deadlines
8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite
