Summary: The Marketing Associate will be an integral part of our dynamic team. The primary responsibility is to assist in the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive the growth of our client. Responsibilities:
- Marketing Support: Assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Content Creation: Develop and design content for social media, website, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
- Market Research: Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and consumer insights to inform strategy decisions.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance.
- Social Media: Maintain and update company’s social media profiles, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, design, and production teams to align marketing strategies with company goals.
- Administrative Duties: Organize and maintain marketing resources, collateral, and tools.
Potential tasks
- Sending of customer satisfaction surveys weekly and responding to any responses (minimal responses, 1-2 per week)
- Email marketing: Assist in building and sending email marketing campaigns, database/list maintenance and cleanup
- Newsletter creation and sending.
- Back-end marketing statistics (e.g., Google Ads), daily data on lead sources etc.
- Social and blog postings on a regular basis. Maintaining the content and content calendar for postings.
- Marketing collateral management. Maintain a log of all marketing collateral, when to be updated etc.
- Assist sales with regular requests for lists, ppt presentations, email templates etc.
- RFPIO (Responsive) being able to import and export RFPs and questionnaires as well as making requested adjustments along the way.
- Making updates to our websites.
Requirements
- Experience with Salesforce and marketing software (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and software.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
- Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred (but not essential)
- Previous internship or relevant academic experience in marketing.
- Familiarity with WordPress.
