Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Interpreter specializing in Haitian Creole to English translation. The Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services in medical settings, ensuring effective communication between healthcare professionals and patients on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience in Simultaneous Interpretation
- Language proficiency in Haitian Creole and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality
- Certification or training in Medical Interpretation is a plus
- Experience working in healthcare or medical settings is preferred
