We are currently looking for a Content Lead to join our dynamic team in Cairo, where you will be responsible for overseeing content and linguistics projects, and steer the local team towards optimal performance. You will work with a variety of clients from different industries, including luxury, retail, travel, and technology, helping them to create engaging content that resonates with audiences around the world.

Overview
We have an exciting opening for a Content Lead (for Translation and multilingual SEO) based in Cairo, to support the management of our growing local office as well as full-cycle localisation and multilingual SEO projects.
The role will report into our Content Delivery Director in London.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is keen to be part of a team performing to the highest standards, and who is able to motivate, steer and inspire the local team. The candidate is also able to work autonomously and in team to support Locaria’s deliveries during a busy season.

- The Office: This position is based in our Cairo office.
- Working hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm local time
Responsibilities
- Support, direct and inspire the local team members.
- Ensure local company culture is positive and collaborative. Suggest practical and measurable policies to improve it as needed.
- Liaise with internal and external production teams, clients and linguists, allocate jobs and monitor workflows.
- Ensure all SLAs are applied and client satisfaction is ensured, for successful account management.
- Be a direct point of contact for our clients and support defining a content strategy, resources, and project delivery.
- Manage the life cycle of linguistics and SEO projects from brief to delivery including liaising with clients, linguists, file manipulation and content reviews.
Required Skills
- Proven experience of +3 years as a senior in the translation, localisation or multilingual SEO industry
- Able to lead by example and inspire the local team
- Translation, linguistics or communication degree/ qualification
- Experience with Translation Management Systems and CAT tools is a must
- Proven experience of client communication and account management
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach to work – bringing ideas and questions to the team
- Passionate about languages
