About InterEcho

We are a specialized agency that helps global brands and advertisers transcreate their ad campaigns and creative content into other languages. We work with some of the largest brands in the world, including Toyota, Amazon, Gatorade, Dell, and Google, who turn to us to properly adapt their content into other languages so they can effectively market their products and services in new countries. We translate and produce everything from TV commercials and social media campaigns to websites and digital ads in over 60 languages.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated New Business Director with a hunter mentality who thrives on building relationships, driving net new business, and activating dormant accounts. We work with small businesses to enterprise accounts and are seeking an individual who can adapt and pivot to the changing market quickly. If you’re outgoing, creative, personable, thrive on being out in the field meeting clients, are driven by commission, and know how to effectively network, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business: Actively prospect, identify, and generate new leads to grow InterEcho’s client base. Utilize your existing network to build meaningful relationships with decision-makers.

  • Expand dormant accounts: Re-engage former clients and underutilized accounts, turning them into revenue-generating partnerships.

  • Establish strong client relationships: Meet face-to-face with clients to understand their localization needs and demonstrate the value InterEcho can bring to their global communication and advertising efforts.

  • Get companies hooked: Your focus will be securing client interest. Our leadership team will assist in closing deals, but you’ll be responsible for getting them excited and ready to move forward.

  • Maximize revenue opportunities: Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within both new and existing accounts to boost revenue.

  • Negotiate contracts: Work with clients to secure service agreements that align with their needs and ensure long-term partnerships.

  • Hybrid work model: While you’ll have flexibility with a hybrid schedule, the role is field-focused, so you should enjoy being on the move, meeting with prospects and clients regularly.

  • Mentor junior team members: Share your expertise with junior business development reps that will be hired under you, helping them grow and succeed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 years of business development and cold outreach experience in B2B services
  • Hunter mentality
  • Existing network
  • Commission-driven
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency working with a CRM
  • Bonus points for experience in localization, production, or advertising industries

Where You’ll Work

You’ll be based out of InterEcho’s headquarters in El Segundo, CA, but will spend the majority of your time 2-3+ days in the field, meeting with clients and prospects. A flexible, hybrid schedule is available when you’re not on-site with clients.
