Role: Business Associate Intern – Accounts Receivable (Payments)
Location: Goregaon (W), Mumbai
Timings: 10:00 AM to 7 PM
Working Days: 5 day working with weekend off

Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Tracking and Management:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Track invoices, send timely reminders, and follow up on unpaid balances.
- Manage accounts receivable records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Collection Calls and Communication:
- Contact clients/customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to collect payments.
- Negotiate payment plans, if needed, with customers to ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Address and resolve any billing discrepancies, payment issues, or disputes.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports on the status of accounts receivable and collection efforts.
- Analyze aging reports and prioritize collections based on delinquency status.
- Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the sales, customer service, and finance departments to resolve disputes or misunderstandings that may delay payments.
- Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure proper recording of payments in Tally.
- Customer Account Management:
- Maintain updated customer account information including payment terms, contact information, and credit history.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s credit policies and payment terms.
- Escalation and Legal Action:
- Escalate unresolved delinquent accounts to collection agencies or legal action when necessary.
- Provide documentation and support for legal proceedings, if required.
Technical skills:
- Knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Good typing speed
- Excellent written English skills
Qualifications:
- Inter CA pass preferred (0-1 year of experience)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounts.
