Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Post Production Supervisor at Creative Soul Productions in Al Seef District – Kingdom of Bahrain. The Post Production Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

Postproduction Supervisor Role Responsibilities

 

Project Management:

o  Oversee the entire postproduction process, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet creative, technical, and quality standards.

o  Develop and manage postproduction schedules, coordinating with editors, sound engineers, and VFX teams to meet deadlines.

o  Act as the primary point of contact between production, creative teams, and postproduction staff.

Team Coordination:

o  Supervise a team of editors, sound designers, colorists, and motion graphic artists.

o  Assign tasks and responsibilities to the team while ensuring efficient workflows.

o  Facilitate communication between the creative team and postproduction staff to ensure all feedback is implemented effectively.

Quality Control (QC):

o  Review all edits, cuts, and deliverables to ensure they align with the creative vision and meet technical standards.

o  Ensure content is polished and error-free, including audio syncing, color consistency, and VFX accuracy.

Language-Specific Editing:

o  Provide feedback and oversee edits in both Arabic and English, ensuring cultural and linguistic nuances are respected.

o  Supervise subtitling, dubbing, and translations to ensure accuracy and localization for bilingual audiences.

Technical Supervision:

• Ensure all content meets platform-specific technical requirements (e.g., YouTube, streaming services, broadcasting).
• Manage the export and delivery of final content in the required formats and resolutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, such as software glitches or formatting problems, to avoid production delays.

Workflow Optimization:

• Develop and implement efficient postproduction workflows, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Maintain and organize the project pipeline, ensuring tasks move seamlessly through editing, VFX, sound design, and delivery.

Asset Management:

• Supervise the organization and archiving of raw footage, edits, and final deliverables.
• Ensure proper backups of all content and manage version control.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to ensure their creative vision is realized.
• Provide updates and reports on project progress and address any concerns from stakeholders.

Budget Oversight:

• Manage postproduction budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently without compromising quality.

Training & Development:

• Mentor and train postproduction team members to improve their skills and maintain high standards.
• Stay updated on the latest postproduction tools, software, and techniques and share knowledge with the team.

Required Skills:

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in Arabic and English:
• Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English, with the ability to review and edit bilingual content.
• Strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances in both languages for localization and audience relevance.

Technical Skills:

Postproduction Software Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and others.
• Familiarity with audio software such as Pro Tools or Audition.

Digital Workflow Knowledge:

• Understanding of video codecs, compression techniques, and file formats for web, broadcast, and streaming platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools for remote postproduction.

Creative Skills:

• Attention to Detail:
• Ability to spot inconsistencies in edits, audio, and color grading to ensure a polished final product.

• Storytelling:
• Strong sense of narrative flow and pacing to enhance the storytelling through editing and sound.

• Aesthetic Sense:
• Knowledge of color theory, composition, and visual effects to guide the creative team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in postproduction, including supervisory roles.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality content on time in both Arabic and English.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in editing, VFX, and sound design.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage teams and budgets effectively.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive starting salary of BHD 1,000, with the opportunity for an increase following the successful completion of the probation period, based on performance and demonstrated contributions to the team.
