Position Description

Role Title: Product and Tools Operations GTM Lead

Duration: 9 months

Work Location: Hybrid Tues-Thurs in the office (New York, NY). Monday & Friday remote.

Work Schedule: Normal Eastern Time business hours, Monday – Friday

Project Overview

The Go-To-Market organization (GTM) provides strategic business insights, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps leadership identify and drive strategic programs and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Technical Services team provides technical expertise across all our products to support our global Sales and Partnerships teams. The Product & Tools Operations team strives to delight customers by obviating the need for support across a range of product areas. The team works closely with several product and engineering organizations to develop and improve our products and internal tools, being champions of the customer experience, advocating for product improvements backed by product expertise and data-driven insights.

Overall Responsibilities

The team maintains the close relationships with the Engineering and Product partners necessary to develop and improve our products and internal tools. In this Product and Tools Operations GTM Lead role, you will work closely with executive leaders to support strategy development and implementation for high impact strategic initiatives and key operational topics. You will act as an independent advisor while closely collaborating with your business partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner and trusted advisor to the Product and Tools organization’s executive leadership, helping to land the present and shape the future of our team.
  • Support executive engagements through targeted analysis, drive to insight, and clear action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on annual business planning, key organizational initiatives, operational business reviews and high impact strategic projects.
  • Break down complexity and bring the organization along through clearly structured communication and compelling storylines.
  • Bring best practices to stakeholders drawing from technical fields, business operations, service operations, internet/online media and other technology sectors.

Top Daily Responsibilities

  • Lay the strategic foundation for growth of your partner orgs by analyzing and identifying the work they do via time surveys and impact metric review; develop a future for the vision of the work they do internally and with partner orgs; and, drive strategic planning exercises across leadership to achieve this vision
  • Run annual, bi-annual, quarterly and monthly processes to collect insights from customer-facing teams and surface them to product and engineering counterparts; identify and implement opportunities to make these processes even more efficacious by ensuring unified vision, metrics, and language are used to communicate needs to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Run ad hoc projects to analyze data to identify areas of opportunity for process improvements, tooling and product creation, and/or organizational design changes to drive optimal customer experiences and long-term benefits to our business, and lead the strategy to define the workstreams that arise from these analyses

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or equivalent strategy/project management experience at a technology firm.
  • Experience structuring analysis and associated communications.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • MBA or graduate degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or equivalent strategy/project management experience at a technology firm.
  • High proficiency structuring analysis and executive communications, with demonstrated crisp and clear storylines and executive-level visualizations.
  • Superb problem-solving skills with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
  • Experience implementing strategic and large scale initiatives projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
