THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Manager to oversee our technology suite, primarily focused on our Translation Management System (TMS) and AI-driven tools, including Machine Translation (MT). The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to enhance our offerings and drive operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure the successful development and delivery of innovative solutions that meet customer needs and align with business goals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Strategy Development: Contribute to the product vision and strategy for the technology suite, aligning with overall company goals and market needs.
  • Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned to the Product Strategy that prioritizes features, improvements, and new initiatives based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
  • Product Backlog Management: Work closely with business stakeholders, solutions team, engineering, R&D Team and other stakeholders to write, refine and triage product backlog items to accelerate the delivery of the roadmap via Release Train.
  • Ownership of requirements definition and solution delivery across product initiatives. Accountable for ensuring solutions are both valuable and viable.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality product releases. Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams.
  • User Experience Focus: Advocate for the user experience by conducting user research, gathering feedback, and incorporating insights into product development.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives and inform future improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product updates and strategic initiatives to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.
  • Budget Management: Manage product budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet project timelines and quality standards. R&D Team budget is allocated to the Dev Direction, to drive maximizing opportunities versus costs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the technology sector with a focus on SaaS, translation, or AI applications.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with translation management systems, machine translation, and other language services technology is highly desirable.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a proven track record of successfully launching products.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Release Management prioritizes: Owns the Backlog and helps planning the Release Items by driving the Definition of Ready. Assists the R&D Team to ensure timely delivery of the Release Train according to Agile methodologies.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable product features and enhancements.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical background to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, understand product architecture, and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to drive innovation and execution.
  • Embraces the Agile philosophy.
