Product Manager Intern (12 months) – Mobile (1 role)

Ceridian Dayforce Mobile Product team is a well-organized and well-managed team of dedicated individuals that all work together to manage the product ideation, creation, and enhancements of Dayforce mobile application. This mobile application that our team is in charge of it’s life cycle, is being used by thousands of customers and millions of end users around the world.

During your internship you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our application that can be experienced by those millions of users.

Primary Responsibilities/ What You’ll Get To Do

  • Drive forward initiatives with passion and enthusiasm
  • Serve as the voice of the user in conversations with design and development
  • Built a metrics story around our progress toward a more accessible platform
  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing, maintaining, and executing against both the backlog and roadmap using a data driven approach
  • Manage the risk of poorly developed software by ensuring the team is focused on building the right product for the right user at the right time
  • Assist in delivering end-to-end products focusing on functionality, performance, security, scalability, resiliency, localization, and integrations.
  • Spends a majority of time externally focused speaking to customers and business stakeholders
  • Speaks to internal stakeholders and customers to identify business problems and product opportunities (represents the voice of the customer)
  • Develop solutions (what) to problems and provides justification (why) for why we should invest money and resources
  • Provides input on decisions with respect to product feature prioritization, requirements, and feature scope
  • Communicates value of new features to stakeholders and customers
  • Collaborates with Product Owners and other Product Managers to accomplish objectives
  • Participates in the launch of new products or major feature

Qualifications/Skills And Experience We Value

  • Pursuing Bachelor (or Masters) of Science in Business Administration / Computer Information Systems / Project or Product Management or equivalent degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional self-awareness and influencing skills
