Our software client is looking for a Production Designer to join their team for 3+ months, 35 hours per week.
You will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality corporate collateral assets across the organization. You will be responsible for content population and layout, ensuring all materials meet AODA accessibility standards, and are an expert at asset handoff for regionalization and international translation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce corporate collateral, including brochures, flyers, reports, presentations, and other marketing materials using Adobe InDesign.
- Populate content accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ensure all materials comply with AODA accessibility standards, making necessary adjustments to text, images, layout, and metadata.
- Collaborate with translation services to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations and regionalizations of content.
- Creation of A4 versions and IDML files in prep for localization
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Review and proofread materials for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Work closely with the marketing, communications, and design teams to gather requirements and feedback.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all projects.
- Able to follow detailed internal processes for DAM, filenaming, and distributing to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Publisher or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Strong working knowledge of AODA accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with content translation and regionalization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
