Job Description- Program Manager

As a Program Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple localization projects related to the company’s e-commerce operations. You will work within an environment that promotes proactive cooperation and motivates individuals to maintain a positive attitude in order to consistently deliver quality services and solutions. The ideal candidate should have a prior experience in program management, client servicing, revenue generation, client servicing, stakeholder management, growth strategy, process improvement, P&L management, risk mitigation and team handling. will be a detail oriented multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills. To excel in the role, you should be able to work on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a localization strategy: You will need to create a plan for localizing your client’s needs for different markets. This may involve researching the target market, determining the necessary translations and cultural adaptations, and developing a timeline and budget for the project.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and the client: You will work closely with various departments heads on the client side, such as product development, marketing, and vernacular team, as well as internal teams such as translators, to ensure that all aspects of the localization process are coordinated and executed efficiently.
  • Managing project timelines and budgets: You will need to track the progress of the localization project, making sure that it stays on schedule and within budget. This may involve identifying and resolving issues that arise, and communicating updates to stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensuring quality of localized content: You will need to ensure that all localized content, such as translated text, images, and videos, meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This may involve reviewing and editing content yourself or working with a team of editors or quality assurance specialists.
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance: You will need to track the performance of localized products or services in different markets, gathering data and feedback from stakeholders. This information can be used to optimize future localization efforts and improve overall performance.
  • Communicating with stakeholders: You would need to communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior leaders, project teams, and external partners. This would involve providing status updates, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts.
  • Leading project planning and execution: You would be responsible for developing project plans, setting timelines, allocating resources, and managing the day-to-day execution of multiple projects.
  • Monitoring project progress: You would need to track project progress and ensure that projects are delivered on time, and to the required quality standards. This would involve identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Driving continuous improvement: You would be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the operations of the process, and for driving the implementation of these improvements.

Overall, you will play a critical role in ensuring that a company strategy is effectively adapted to different markets, helping to expand the client’s reach and improve customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, you would need to have strong project management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of localization and e-commerce operations. You would also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple competing priorities

Skillsets:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business or related field of study.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS office.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Pleasing personality, receptive to feedback and positive attitude.
  • An organised approach.
  • Confident and empathic listener.

The responsibilities are not restricted to the above defined KRA.

Employment: Full-time

Experience: 9-12 years

Prior experience in Localization industry would be an added advantage.
