The Role

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Length: 12 months

Estimated Start: February

Location: Remote

Brainrider is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our client embedded team. You’ll work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams supporting operations specific to GenAi Linguistics. You are highly organized and a strong communicator making sure tasks are clearly defined and understood. You’ll monitor and oversee the progress of projects until completion and actively look to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with key partners on the i18n localization team, cross-functional teams, and vendors in supporting operations specific to GenAI Linguistic, evaluation and annotation services and other localization services the team provides to company-wide stakeholders
  • Triage, scope and process incoming requests, create and submit tasks, and monitor task progress until completion
  • Connect directly with requesters when more information or due date/scope negotiation is required towards making their request actionable
  • Make sure tasks assigned to vendors and/or internal partners are clearly defined and understood, in terms of the work expected from them, task priority level, and deadline
  • Keep requesters informed of progress and of any potential delays specific to their request
  • Help educate requesters towards them meeting requirements and following best practices in the future
  • Contribute to internal team workflow/process optimization and documentation
  • Identify and flag workflow, process, tooling or other issues and opportunities for improvement/efficiency

What you’ll bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in localization project management and relevant task management
  • Basic knowledge of and experience in using Meta AI and other GenAI/AI products
  • Experience with 3rd party or proprietary localization, content, task management and translation/CAT tools/systems, and in processing various file formats though localization flows
  • Experience developing process/user support documentation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Bonus

  • Knowledge of standard web technologies and coding languages such as PHP, XHTML, HTML, XML,CSS, JavaScript
  • Skills in work and task prioritization and organization
  • Passion for and record of optimizing processes/workflows
  • Familiarity with Meta products (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Oculus…)
  • Some engineering and/or hands-on programming experience
  • Knowledge of additional languages other than English
