Remote (EST location candidates only)

Years of experience: At least 3-4 years of experience. While a bachelor’s degree is not required, prior project management experience is preferred.

Must-Have Skills:

  1. Task Management Tools: Experience using task management tools to organize and track project tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of localization projects.
  2. Project Management Skills: Managed and enhanced end-to-end localization processes for multiple markets and languages. This experience is crucial for coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines.
  3. Cross-functional collaboration: Working with various teams, including engineering, marketing, legal, and vendors, which is essential for effectively communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Problem Solving and Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing processes, which are important for making independent decisions and working under pressure.
  5. Basic tools experience like Asana, JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating localization projects from translation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive localization schedules, encompassing translation, QA, and launch phases, while maintaining open communication with key stakeholders, including Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.

Effectively communicate project expectations, timelines, and test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units, ensuring clear instructions and timely updates.

Create and execute basic test plans for linguists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements as needed.

Analyze existing workflows and tools, providing recommendations for optimization and piloting the implementation of new processes to drive efficiency and quality.

Work independently, making informed decisions under pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively to meet aggressive deadlines in an ambiguous environment.

Triage, prioritize, and escalate internationalization bugs, collaborating with product teams to ensure fixes are implemented before launch.

Skills

Proven experience in Project Management, Localization, and QA with a track record of successfully launching products in multiple locales.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong understanding of task prioritization, problem-solving, and working towards solutions.

Solid knowledge of common challenges associated with developing products for international markets.

Preferred Qualification

Experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools or similar in-house tools and platforms that manage and/or automate the translation workflow.

Familiarity with product and software development processes.

Relevant experience in software localization, localization program management, or management of localization technology solutions.

Experience in hardware, augmented reality, virtual reality, advertising, or payments testing

Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

International Testing Team: Collaborate with the international testing team to ensure that Meta products are culturally and linguistically appropriate for various markets.

Coordinate the Review Process: Facilitate the coordination of the review process, ensuring it is carried out smoothly and efficiently.

Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate with stakeholders, including linguists, translators, and product teams, to ensure everyone is aware of the localization process and timelines
