As our client base keeps expanding, we are now hiring a Project Manager working within our translation and content writing departments. The role is very hands-on and suits someone that enjoys being at the heart of the business. You will be the main point of contact for clients and our team of translators, revisers, and copywriters and will make sure every project is delivered on time and exceeds client expectations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide quotes and information about our Localisation and Content Writing services;
  • Attend briefing meetings with new and existing clients;
  • Create orders based on the client’s specifications;
  • Assign tasks to vendors and negotiate rates when required;
  • Run quality-assurance and plagiarism-checking tools;
  • Deliver completed projects to clients within set deadlines;
  • Insert project data and financials on the CMS;
  • Identify and resolve content writing service issues;
  • Assisting the Vendor Manager on vendor selection when required.

Preferred background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management in the translation or localization industry.
  • Strong proficiency in English. Additional language skills are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of translation processes, terminology management, and CAT tools (MemoQ mainly).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in translation management systems (XTRF) is advantageous.

Start date: Immediate.

Location: Boavista, Porto (Carolina Michaelis metro station). We may consider remote work for the right candidate.
