The Role:

The Project Manager is the primary day-to-day contact with the Client Marcom team and works closely with their Producers, Project Managers, Creative team, Image Producers and Print Production Manager to implement campaigns in China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage localization of marketing materials on the agency side
  • Build strong client relationships which enable a clear understanding of the client’s structure and print vendors. Be the ‘go-to’ person for Marketing asset localization and production
  • Build strong relationships across all stakeholders (Traffic, Content, Translation, Creative, Studio, Print Production and Operations)
  • Lead planning for new projects: liaising with the client and line manager
  • Manage project progress and update daily tracker during live project – shared with related stakeholders. Preempt stakeholders for necessary action and flag issues to line manager and/or client wherever necessary, with proposed solutions (including potential delays) to avoid further escalation
  • Own the basics of client service including creating and updating agendas, timing plans and contact reports
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand and follow agreed workflows to ensure smooth delivery of marketing materials. Understand and follow agreed workflows and review from time to time to seek opportunities for optimization.
  • Clear communication of briefs to the studio and print production teams, create a balanced work schedule, and ensure that the artworks are built and delivered in an efficient manner and with quality
  • Immerse yourself in the client’s brand and offering, understanding their business and the impact of work
  • The ability to write, prepare and present project documentation, presentations and reports with a strategic mindset and point of view.
  • Act as a brand QC/Guardian – always ensure brand guidelines, QC checklists and procedures are followed
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services and technology

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma and a minimum of 4 years solid agency experience gained working on global retail and/or shopper accounts, from creative development to final production
  • Good knowledge of print artwork and digital artwork productions processes and best practices
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking ability and passion for the work are essential
  • A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems
  • The ability to manage tasks in a large scale and prioritize the works to deliver efficiently within very tight time frames. Being agile and responsive under a changing circumstance
  • Fast learning and open-minded to new tools and initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in both Chinese and English
  • Practical experience on macOS and Numbers / Keynote is preferred
