What will be your role?

This is a remote full-time Project Manager role for Translation and Localisation. You will manage all assigned projects in the most efficient manner possible in order to ensure client retention, satisfaction and ultimately repeat revenue growth. Through effective written and verbal communication ensure that project teams are clear on the scope, complexity and expectations of clients for all projects and that the clients are kept fully informed as to the progress, position and financial status of their projects. To manage and motivate the extended project team ensuring actions are clearly delegated and that resource/quality issues are escalated in a timely fashion to the departmental managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage key accounts with varied project types, having overall responsibility for revenue, profitability, schedule, methodology and deliverables. Ensuring client satisfaction while achieving an acceptable profit level. The main aim is to ensure repeat business from clients and to add real value.
  • Work with account managers to develop business opportunities and account growth.
  • Financial management of assigned accounts including revenue forecasting each month, project budget management, delivery of account profitability against agreed targets and assisting in developing and implementing revenue/profitability improvement plans.
  • Compilation of estimates and proposals for approval.
  • Project planning and implementing best methodology and process.
  • Risk assessment and strategic planning of activities to minimise potential issues.
  • Effective verbal/written communications with clients, freelancers, and internal team members
  • Attending and on occasions hosting/leading conference calls with clients and team members
  • Attending regular project meetings, documenting these and distributing minutes/actions to the team.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 1 or more years’ experience in managing localisation projects. 
  • Experience in managing exacting accounts and client relationships with key customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, including development and delivery
  • Ability to create account plans and identify key actions required to grow accounts assigned.
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of localisation including internationalisation, development cycles, Engineering, DTP, graphics, translation, testing, Multimedia, translation and workflow tools and process
  • Familiar and/or good understanding of Transcription and Translation project processes
  • Structured problem-solving abilities.
  • Consistent performer especially under pressure.
  • Comfortable with responsibility and full accountability.
