The Prem Rawat Foundation is seeking a Promotions Support Coordinator for the Peace Education Program. The Promotions Support Coordinator will work closely with the Peace Education Program Director to support global efforts to promote the Peace Education Program. The coordinator will assist the director and others in preparing for conferences, presentations, webinars and other activities promoting the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Respond to requests for support in promoting the program including webinars, presentations, follow-ups and conferences. Conference support can include coordinating the creation of slideshows, videos, banners, handouts, abstracts and booth set-up planning.
● Assist with creation of Peace Education Program promotional materials.
● Assist with translation and localization of promotional materials.
● Maintain contact and follow up records in Salesforce CRM.
● Participate in team meetings as required.
Reports To: Peace Education Program Director
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Knowledge of or experience with marketing and promotions
● Proven writing, proofreading and editing skills
● Proficiency in English with good verbal communication skills
● Proficiency in Spanish or other languages a plus
● Knowledge of and experience with the Peace Education Program a plus
● Experience with event/conference preparations a plus
● Comfortable working remotely, independently and collaboratively
● Proficiency in Google Suite applications and video-conferencing platforms
● Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
● Proficiency in Microsoft Suite a plus
● Experience with graphic design and/or video production a plus
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or other applicable field or equivalent combination of education and work experience with 2+ years of successful professional experience.
Required Resources: Private computer, video conferencing ability with high-speed internet connectivity
Hours & Location: Virtual. 15-20 hours per week: at least three workdays per week and occasional weekend hours. Consistent availability within 6 hours of Los Angeles time zone required.
