Key Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit Thai to English translations for grammar, syntax, and clarity.
- Ensure the translated content preserves the original meaning and resonates culturally with English speakers.
- Work closely with translators to address any discrepancies or unclear sections in the text.
- Maintain consistent style, tone, and terminology across all translation projects.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in both Thai and English.
- Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or translation (Thai to English experience is a plus).
- TOFEL
- Outstanding attention to detail and mastery of English grammar and syntax.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
- Preferred: A high score on TOEFL (100+) or IELTS (7.5+), or equivalent demonstration of English proficiency (e.g., a degree from an English-speaking institution).
- Preferred: A high score on the Thai Language Proficiency Test (TLPT) or equivalent demonstration of Thai proficiency (e.g., a language degree from a Thai-speaking institution).
