Summary
The Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist is crucial in attracting, hiring, and integrating top talent to support the company’s mission. This role manages the entire recruitment process, ensures a seamless and engaging onboarding experience, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to align hiring and onboarding strategies with the company’s goals.
Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create job descriptions, and develop interview plans.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline by networking, utilizing online tools, and attending career fairs and recruitment events.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules and gather feedback from interviewers.
- Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and oversee the pre-employment process.
Onboarding
- Create and manage an engaging and inclusive onboarding program to help new hires transition smoothly into the company.
- Collaborate with People Operations and IT/System team to distribute onboarding materials, including welcome packets, equipment, and access credentials, ensuring a smooth and efficient new hire experience.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, providing an overview of company policies, culture, and expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during the onboarding period, addressing questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with managers and People Operations to ensure the completion of required training and documentation.
- Continuously improve onboarding processes based on feedback and industry best practices.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment and onboarding activities in HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and onboarding effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools for recruitment and onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably within the translation and language services industry, with experience in a global organization a plus.
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
- In-depth understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ownership and attention to detail throughout the recruitment process.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of empathy and a strong commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in recruitment software and tools.
