Position Overview
As a Project Manager, you will become part of a dynamic and fully remote team devoted to delivering outstanding service across various industries. In this capacity, you will spearhead the planning and execution of translation projects, ensuring that quality, timelines, and budgets are managed effectively to exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless workflows and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with account managers and clients, engaging in kick-off meetings, providing updates, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Assemble and oversee project teams, comprising linguists, typesetters, technical support, and quality assurance specialists.
- Cultivate strong vendor partnerships, manage budgets, and oversee purchase orders.
- Adhere to established quality assurance protocols, develop and maintain linguistic assets (translation memories, glossaries, style guides), and supervise client review processes.
- Assist the sales team during new client onboarding and contribute to ongoing client relations.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in translation/localization, with multimedia experience considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in translation, communication, business, technology, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in English and knowledge of additional languages preferred.
- Experience with industry-standard CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, SDL Trados) and familiarity with CMS systems (e.g., Plunet, XTRF).
- Understanding of multilingual typesetting processes.
- Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to problem-solving and customer service.
- Capability to work effectively from a home office.
