We translate highly technical, financial and legal, general and administrative content. Our services include editing, revision, adaptation and transcreation.
You would join an impressive team of project coordinators and managers to exercise your professional judgement to promote the company and generate client leads.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Sales Specialist to join our growing team in the translation industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online marketing, business services, sales, along with client acquisition strategies. As a Marketing and Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive lead generation, convert leads into clients, and boost brand visibility. This role will involve driving the marketing efforts to promote our translation and localization services, develop brand awareness particularly targeting businesses across various sectors. As this is a new position, you will have a vital role in developing marketing and sales campaigns for the company. This is a part time position with the room for growth and development.
Compensation:
This is a part time position of 2-3 days a week at a starting hourly rate of $20-$25 per hour, 7.5 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation:
· Identify and segment target industries, businesses, and key decision-makers who could benefit from translation and localization services.
· Collaborate with Administration to convert leads into clients through customized follow-up, proposals, and presentations.
· Identify and target new business opportunities in various industries such as legal, healthcare, finance, technology, and more.
· Use inbound and outbound marketing strategies to generate qualified leads through various channels including email, social media, Search Engine Optimization, and paid ads.
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
· Conduct market research to uncover new client opportunities and business trends.
Sales Development & Conversion:
· Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable translation services.
· Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and social media to initiate sales conversations.
· Convert leads into clients by effectively communicating the value of our translation services
· Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Online Marketing & Digital Presence/ Brand Positioning and Market Research:
· Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) to increase brand awareness and attract new business clients.
· Oversee search engine optimization strategies and website optimization efforts to drive organic search traffic.
· Manage paid advertising strategies including Google Ads, social media ads, and retargeting campaigns aimed at increasing visibility and leads.
· Manage and enhance the company’s social media presence, ensuring content is aligned with the company’s messaging and tailored to target business clients.
· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of online campaigns, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
· Develop email marketing campaigns to nurture relationships with leads and existing clients, ensuring regular touchpoints and engagement.
· Ensure marketing materials reflect the value proposition of translation services for businesses across different sectors (e.g., healthcare, technology, legal, finance, etc.).
· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
· Analyze competitors’ activities and industry trends to stay ahead of the market and refine marketing strategies.
· Work closely with the administration team to ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the company’s branding and messaging.
· Analyze the competitive landscape and provide insights on market trends, competitor offerings, and potential growth opportunities.
· Build and maintain a strong brand presence in the translation and localization industry, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
· Conduct market research to understand client needs, challenges, and service gaps to refine marketing strategies.
Partnerships & Networking:
· Develop and maintain relationships with business partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify marketing efforts and enhance the company’s visibility in the market.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
· Provide regular reports on the performance of marketing campaigns, lead generation efforts, and website analytics to senior management.
· Identify trends and opportunities for improvement, optimizing marketing efforts for the highest return on investment (ROI).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the translation, language services, or similar industry.
- Strong understanding of online marketing channels, including SEO, paid advertising (PPC), email marketing, and social media platforms.
- Proven experience in lead generation, sales funnel management, and conversion optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in marketing tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with the translation and localization industry is considered a strong asset.
