Senior Audio Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Offering guidance and mentorship to the Audio team
  • Collaborate across internal and external teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely deliveries
  • Manage team meetings, workload distribution, resource allocation, and partner studio coordination
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, and workflows, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
  • Drive end-to-end audio localization, including voice-over, sound effects, dubbing, and mixing
  • Review project materials, prepare recording resources, and deliver voice recordings to post-production and QA
  • Handle time tracking, freelancer invoices, and optimize workflows
  • Coordinate recording schedules, contracts, and communication with voice actors and partners
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external collaborators
  • Evaluate and onboard new partner studios and freelancers with support from the community team

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years in voice recording and project management, ideally in gaming
  • Experience in communicating with stakeholders
  • Experience in leading projects from A-Z
  • Degree in project management, music production, media studies, audio engineering, sound design, or related field
  • Proficient in Pro Tools or similar DAWs (Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Fluent in German (C2) and English (C2)

NICE TO HAVE

  • 2-3 years in management/leadership roles
  • Knowledge of the Berlin talent and dubbing industry
