Responsibilities:
1. Responsibilities as outlined in UX Localization Engineer.
2. Implement and maintain internationalization best practices to enable efficient localization of software applications and web content.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive localization strategy.
4. Lead assigned projects with limited assistance, displaying outstanding contribution and impact to the team and projects.
5. Provide leadership and technical support and guidance to translators, entry level localization engineers, and other stakeholders on localization tools and processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, UX Design, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 6 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience in localization engineering or software development, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, with experience in scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with localization file formats and localization standards.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of internationalization and localization concepts, including Unicode, character encoding, and locale-specific formatting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
