Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Vendor Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, managing workflows, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery for our global clients. This role requires expertise in vendor management, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the translation and localization industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and manage recruitment and selection processes, including resume screening, screening calls, and interviews.
- Use social media tools for recruitment.
- Help coordinate vendor approval processes and methods.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified vendors.
- Establish trusting relationships with existing vendors.
- Facilitate effective communication between vendors and project managers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide vendors with project specifications and guidelines.
- Assist in assigning projects to vendors based on their expertise and availability.
- Track, measure, report, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Provide monthly reports on vendor recruitment.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve issues with vendors.
- Troubleshoot vendor problems and present them to management as needed.
- Manage external vendor relations within the Operations Department.
- Coordinate all vendor management tasks, working collaboratively with external vendors.
- Track project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (faculty of Alsun and arts graduates are preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in translation & localization industry.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in Vendor management, preferably in a recruitment or HR-related role.
