Software Development Engineer in Test

Lionbridge Games is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Team cooperating with one of the biggest tech companies in the world.

The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge and professional experience in games test automation and test framework development, great interpersonal skills and Python and AWS proficiency.

What You Will Do

  • Identify test cases eligible for automation.
  • Implement and execute automation for test cases using existing frameworks.
  • Investigate and report on product issues discovered by automation.
  • Implement and maintain test frameworks, tooling, pipelines.
  • Instrument product code to improve its testability.
  • Mentor TAE, Sr TAE at Lionbridge Games.
  • Remain current on software testing best practices and industry trends.
  • Monitor software to detect and root cause code errors.
  • Work in partnership with Client’s internal QA and Dev teams.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Fluent English.
  • Experience (commercial, ~2 years) with Unreal Engine and C++ – crucial
  • Experience with Python 3.
  • Experience with Groovy and Jenkins.
  • Competence within at least 1 object-oriented programming languages, e.g.: C#, C++.
  • Experience in algorithms and data structures. Competence within Unit Testing.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly developed technical communication
  • Experience with QA processes, test scope requirements and testing method.
  • Knowledge of one version control system: Perforce, Git, SVN or similar.

Not Required But Would Be An Asset.

  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Professional coding experience in other programming language.
  • Major consoles devkits experience.
  • Experience in game development lifecycle.
