As a Solutions Consultant (Presales) for the DACH region, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of RWS Linguistic AI solutions across the enterprise, LSP, and public sector market segments. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, showcase the value of our solutions, and provide expert guidance throughout the sales cycle. This position requires a dynamic, self-motivated professional with strong work ethics who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Expertise:

  • Develop a deep understanding of RWS Linguistic AI products, including translation management, terminology management, and machine translation solutions.
  • Develop a good understanding of adjacent RWS solutions, including content management platforms and expert linguistic services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies.

Customer Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solution recommendations.
  • Build relationships with enterprise, LSP, and public sector customers, acting as a trusted advisor for their linguistic AI needs.

Presales Activities:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops that address customer pain points.
  • Manage and coordinate product trials and proof-of-concept (POC) projects to showcase solution capabilities.
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.

Collaboration:

  • Liaise with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to address customer feedback and ensure solution alignment with customer needs.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop winning strategies for accounts and opportunities.

Technical Support:

  • Assist with integration discussions, providing technical expertise on APIs, workflows, and deployment options.
  • Offer post-sales support during solution onboarding and implementation phases when needed.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Proven experience in presales, solutions consultant, or similar roles, preferably in the translation, localization, or content management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of translation workflows, terminology management, and/or machine translation technologies.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with shifting demands.
  • Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with the DACH region and its unique market dynamics.
  • Technical knowledge of content management systems (CMS), APIs, and enterprise software integration practices.
  • Understanding of AI-driven solutions and their application in linguistic workflows.
  • Experience working with government customers or regulated industries.
