Spanish Translator (Cryptocurrency & Blockchain)

Job Responsibilities

1.Document Translation:

  • Translate a wide range of documents, including product descriptions, operational manuals, marketing materials, and academy content, ensuring accuracy, contextual appropriateness, and proper localization for the Latam region.
  • Adapt translations to suit different target audiences and cultural contexts.

2.Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) tasks, including debugging and proofreading, to ensure translations meet publishable quality standards.
  • Ensure all translations are 100% accurate and delivered on time.

3.Communication & Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers (PMs) and requestors to understand project requirements, clarify ambiguities, and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure translations align with project goals and brand guidelines.

4.Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest crypto terminology and trends to ensure translations are relevant and accurate.
  • Continuously improve translation quality by incorporating industry best practices.

Job Requirements

1.Industry Experience:

  • Proven experience in crypto/blockchain translation (minimum 2 years of relevant experience is essential, non-negotiable).
  • Experience translating product, operational, and marketing content within the crypto/blockchain industry is highly preferred.

2.Language Skills:

  • Native Spanish speaker from the Latam region with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong command of English (C1 level or above) for effective communication and translation.

3.Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., Phrase, Memsource, SDL Trados). Experience with Phrase is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with LQA processes and tools is a plus.

4.Education:

  • Translator’s degree or a related field (e.g., Linguistics, Communications, Journalism). Candidates who are still studying but meet all other requirements will also be considered.

5.Work Arrangements:

  • Full-time availability (8 hours per day). Flexible working hours are negotiable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
