Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and manage classroom clinical training programs on our products by referring to global training programs (classroom training and field training at hospitals).
  • Translate English training materials into Japanese.
  • Create and continuously update training materials as needed.
  • Deliver most part of planned training programs to newly joined clinical specialists and sales teams.
  • Plan necessary business and technical skill training in addition to the global program to ensure localization.
  • Monitor and observe the progress of trainees and provide appropriate support when needed.
  • Teach and coach new clinical specialists on business and clinical behaviors and communication at hospitals.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in in related field , 5 years years experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience Required and
  • Other: Clinician experience in intra-operative procedures acquired from Registered Nursing Degree curriculum (RN), or in positions such as Radiologic Technologist (RT), Operating Room Technician (ORT), or Cardiovascular Technician (RCIS) Preferred and
  • Other: Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery Preferred

Requirements

  • Clinical knowledge of structural heart diseases including echo
  • Experience of planning and delivering clinical trainings
  • Experience of project management
  • Presentation/coaching/teaching skills
  • Fluent Japanese and English to build good relationship with global stakeholders
  • Ability of nimble learning and manage ambiguity
  • Maturity to become role model of trainees
  • Medical Technologist, Sonographer or Nurse license

Preffered:

  • Proven experience in a catheterization lab (cath lab) or sterile environment
  • Demonstrated success in training, preferably within the medical technology sector
  • Deep knowledge in echocardiography
