Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage classroom clinical training programs on our products by referring to global training programs (classroom training and field training at hospitals).
- Translate English training materials into Japanese.
- Create and continuously update training materials as needed.
- Deliver most part of planned training programs to newly joined clinical specialists and sales teams.
- Plan necessary business and technical skill training in addition to the global program to ensure localization.
- Monitor and observe the progress of trainees and provide appropriate support when needed.
- Teach and coach new clinical specialists on business and clinical behaviors and communication at hospitals.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in in related field , 5 years years experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience Required and
- Other: Clinician experience in intra-operative procedures acquired from Registered Nursing Degree curriculum (RN), or in positions such as Radiologic Technologist (RT), Operating Room Technician (ORT), or Cardiovascular Technician (RCIS) Preferred and
- Other: Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery Preferred
Requirements
- Clinical knowledge of structural heart diseases including echo
- Experience of planning and delivering clinical trainings
- Experience of project management
- Presentation/coaching/teaching skills
- Fluent Japanese and English to build good relationship with global stakeholders
- Ability of nimble learning and manage ambiguity
- Maturity to become role model of trainees
- Medical Technologist, Sonographer or Nurse license
Preffered:
- Proven experience in a catheterization lab (cath lab) or sterile environment
- Demonstrated success in training, preferably within the medical technology sector
- Deep knowledge in echocardiography
