About The Role & Program

The Studio Operations Localization team manages localized components, supporting worldwide releases of new Theatrical and D+ Studio branded titles. Our team engages in planning, vendor management, localization strategy, component ordering and execution, ensuring our content maintains the highest quality throughout the global lifecycle.

This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from May 2025 – August 2025.

What You Will Do

  • Create orders for localized components; ensure systems are updated and orders are clear to vendors
  • Monitor milestones and maintain status updates in system to ensure reports are accurate
  • Recognize when a plan is off track and escalate appropriately
  • Assist with local territory requests for production assets to support localization needs
  • Coordinate the day-to-day delivery priorities
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Support APM and Manager on subtitle screening needs
  • Coordinate localization strategy decisions and translations via Disney systems/tool
  • Assist with movement of assets and archive tracking
  • Utilize a wide array of managing software programs, including, Smartsheet, Google trackers, Microsoft Project, and various Disney-owned systems
  • Partner with team on accounting, billing and PO requests

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
  • Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
  • High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working in the entertainment industry

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Understanding of communication styles and approaches for various level of management
  • Strong sense of curiosity in approaches to solving complex problems

Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework with a business, entertainment, Film/ Television

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am – 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
