RWS Language & Content Technology division:
Offering the latest innovations in language and content management technology to help enterprises engage with global audiences – across any device. Our language technology enables enterprises to automate and manage the entire content lifecycle. And our web content and structured content management technology supports the creation, translation and delivery of global content at scale – in ways that are efficient, secure and compliant. The combination of our language and content technology – enhanced with state-of-the art Machine Learning – offers the capability to manage the ‘end-to-end’ translation supply chain.
The Position:
We are looking for full-time freelance translators to take translation jobs in marketing/IT sectors. The chosen applicant will be joining an existing team of over translators. The successful candidate will be a fluent in Traditional Chinese – Hong Kong and English, with a degree in translation and excellent writing skills.
Requirement:
- The client is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. It is considered one of the Big Tech technology companies, alongside Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Facebook. Its smartphone has the highest market share in Hong Kong.
- More than 1 year translation experience, familiar with localization industry requirement.
- Familiar with Apple products.
- Proficient or interested in learning how to use Trados Studio (2017 version or above).
- Good command in English and Hong Kong Chinese (Written).
- Good at communication and strong sense of responsibility.
- Full-time freelance is a must. Full-time freelance translator, who can translate more than 1500 words per day, and can have long-term cooperation.
- HK or Macau native is a must.
- Working from home, receiving cases by email.
