Translation & localization-Project Manager

**Candidate must have the current designation of project manager and should have 8+ years of translation and localization experience**

Role type- Full time- Work from office

Location: Noida

Reports to: Senior Project Manager

Goal of Position:

To manage the efficiency and productivity of multilingual translation projects by scheduling and monitoring

workflows and ensuring that all projects are strategized to be cost effective by means of departmental data analysis.

Duties:

• Serve as the liaison between firms/clients and the company

• Ensure timely process of all necessary reports

• Forecast and monitor daily production of projects

• Monitor the monthly activity of accounts and update database accordingly

• Maintain CRM database up to date with all the information relevant to each account

• Use project management software to maximize production and quality, as well as cost management

• Maintain effective vendor relationships

• Manage and communicate with linguistic teams to evaluate any issues and determine the needs to maintain the accounts in good standing, offering technical and language support as needed

• Provide the translation team with all necessary tools in order to ensure delivery of a top-quality product; (i.e. translation tools training, glossaries, and guidelines)

• Evaluate project specifications in order to develop workflows to maintain highest customer quality while including cost and timeline estimates for each incoming job when preparing quote/project

• Ensure processes used meet all client and vendor contractual requirements

• Ensure projects are completed and delivered to clients in a timely manner with the utmost attention to quality, following all established department and company ISO-documented quality processes

• Perform or schedule quality control processes for active or completed projects

• Review client and third party feedback and assess the impact on completed and future projects

• Log relevant complaints related to vendor, translation quality, and/or formatting

• Perform data entry to facilitate proper and timely invoicing

Authority:

• Approve/Disapprove/Change translation team members to meet client requirements

• Initiate Vendor Escalation processes

• Manage/choose work team for projects

• Purchase/sub-contract translation services

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ten(10) or more years of project management experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Translation, or language related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Adobe

• Bilingual; Native fluency in at least one language and strong command of at least one other language

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels within the organization

• Strong business acumen, client-services abilities and results-oriented approach

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

• Ability to prioritize work to efficiently balance multiple projects and deadlines
