Translation Project Manager

EHLION is a professional Language Service Provider (LSP) specializing in translation, localization, and AI-enhanced language solutions. Combining expert project management with modern technology, we deliver high-quality services to clients across a wide range of industries.

Our work spans international clients and multilingual teams, with solutions tailored to the needs of global markets.

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strong language background to join our translation team.

In this role, you will manage multilingual translation and localization projects from initiation through delivery.

You will be responsible for coordinating linguists and internal teams, maintaining direct communication with clients, and ensuring that all deliverables meet our high standards in terms of quality, timing, and scope.

This position is suited to candidates with a strong background in languages—ideally with experience in translation, linguistics, or a related field. While prior project management experience is an advantage, we also welcome applicants who demonstrate strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of language workflows.

What You’ll Bring

  • A background in languages—such as translation, linguistics, or a related academic or professional field.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple multilingual projects, coordinate teams, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities, ensuring clear and professional interaction between clients, linguists, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools and translation management systems is an asset. A willingness to work with established localization workflows and to learn new tools is essential.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate project challenges and respond efficiently.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality, ensuring that all deliverables meet both linguistic and technical standards.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project Management

Manage translation and localization projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are consistently met.

  • Client Communication

Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring overall satisfaction.

  • Resource Coordination

Select and coordinate appropriate linguists, editors, and technical specialists based on project requirements.

  • Quality Assurance

Ensure that all deliverables meet internal standards and comply with ISO 17100 guidelines.

  • Workflow & Technology

Apply CAT tools and machine translation workflows where appropriate to optimize efficiency and consistency.

  • Risk & Problem Management

Identify potential project risks early and implement practical solutions to maintain progress and quality.

  • Process Improvement

Support the ongoing development and refinement of internal processes and best practices.
