Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the entire life-cycle on all Quality Services projects: oversee all aspects of project coordination (scheduling and management of all data, personnel and resources) from hand-off through project completion, to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Understand and abide by individual project instructions
- Comply with all ISO regulations, processes and procedures
- Liaise with Sales Staff to clarify and correct project parameters
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contractors
- Negotiate rates and deadlines with contractors to maximize profitability and efficiency
- Effectively manage contract and full-time employees
- Impose sanctions in a timely fashion on contractors as appropriate when a poor or untimely product is returned
- Trouble-shoot projects’ problem
- Investigate client complaints
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
- University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar position in corporate environment
- Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
- Experience in translation and localization project management would be a strong advantage
