Responsibilities & Technical Experience

Working with the wider Project Management team, the Translation Project Manager Assistant is responsible for supporting the management of the full lifecycle of translation and localization projects to completion whilst ensuring IQVIA’s standards are met.

• Provide support in quote management and follow-up, ensuring all details are verified by senior profiles when needed.

• Assist in the pre-flight of translation projects, preparing necessary documentation and materials.

• Assist in liaising with clients to assess and agree on project parameters and requirements, always flagging and checking with more senior profiles when needed.

• Help kick off and launch projects as per setup/requirement, coordinating with more senior profiles when needed.

• Liaise and follow up with linguists for RCA investigation.

• Support in assessing project scope to select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines effectively.

• Accurately complete project finances

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with freelance and in house linguists globally

• Understand and adhere to the Quality Management System

• Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs

• Flag any potential improvements to workflows or fixes to more senior profiles for review and implementation.

• Provide administrative support to the project management team, and other clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a linguistic, business or scientific field

• Fluency in English is essential, an additional language would be advantageous

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure that high quality standards are maintained

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and to manage competing priorities and changing demands.

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently whilst using own initiative.

• Demonstration of advanced IT skills

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and clients
