Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Translations Administrator/Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration processes around translations, coordinating the translation process of our content, ensuring accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Translation Manager with assigned tasks.
- Coordinate and run localization projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, engineering) to understand localization needs and requirements.
- Liaise with external vendors and translators to ensure high-quality translations and adherence to project timelines.
- Review and proofread localized content to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Maintain and update localization guidelines, glossaries, and style guides.
- Monitor and report on localization project status, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all localized content.
- Assist in the development and implementation of localization strategies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in localization or translation project management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Indonesian, French, Japanese, or Spanish.
- Expert knowledge of localization tools and software (e.g., CAT tools, TMS).
- Expert knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
