Summary: As a Translator, you will provide technical translation services for technology programs and projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and effective communication between different language speakers. Your typical day will involve translating technical documents, manuals, and other materials, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of translations. You will also be responsible for maintaining translation glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency and adherence to industry standards. Roles & Responsibilities: – Expected to perform independently and become an SME. – Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. – Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. – Translate technical documents, manuals, and other materials accurately and efficiently. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of translations. – Maintain translation glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency and adherence to industry standards. – Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy and quality. – Provide linguistic support and guidance to other team members. – Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in translation technology. – Assist in the localization of software, websites, and other digital content. – Ensure confidentiality and data security in handling sensitive information. – Conduct research and gather information to enhance translation accuracy and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: – Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Language Translation. – Good To Have Skills: Experience with Delivery Excellence. – Strong understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances. – Excellent command of both source and target languages. – Familiarity with translation tools and software. – Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. – Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additional Information: – The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Language Translation. – This position is based at our Coimbatore office. – A 15 years full time education is required.
