noon, the region’s leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now marketplaces for food delivery, quick commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

What you’ll do:

Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we’ve encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we’re driving major missions forward.

We’re looking for a skilled English-to-Arabic catalog translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both languages and be familiar with localization guidelines and standards.

  • Accurately Translate English menus, guidelines, and other content into Arabic/Gulf Arabic.
  • Ensure that translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and style of the source text.
  • Proofread and edit translated materials to identify and correct errors.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure SLA are met.
  • Adhere to project deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.

What you’ll need:

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (Reading & Writing).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years’ of work experience
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast paced, dynamic, ever-growing environment
