About Us: Snail Games USA is a leader in the gaming and entertainment industry, known for creating immersive gaming experiences with a global reach. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and Translator to provide high-level administrative support to our CEO and act as a translator in key business dealings.
Position Summary: The Translator will work closely with the CEO to manage daily administrative tasks and translate communications, documents, and meetings between English and Mandarin. This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, a proactive approach, and strong cross-cultural communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting C-level executives and be comfortable with occasional travel to support the CEO’s business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate documents, presentations, and communications from Mandarin to English and vice versa.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in translations, maintaining the original meaning and context.
- Assist in the localization of game content and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to facilitate effective communication.
- Review and edit translated materials for quality assurance.
- Provide interpretation services during meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Translator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of gaming and entertainment terminology is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is preferred.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
Salary Range: $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
