Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Translator (Video Production and Marketing) at House of Myanmar located in Bangkok City, Thailand. The Translator will be responsible for translating scripts, video content, managing video production tasks, and working on marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Translation & Localization:
– Translate and localize marketing materials, scripts, subtitles, and production assets from Thai to Myanmar.
– Adapt content to fit cultural nuances while maintaining the brand’s voice and tone.
– Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
– Keeping the written records of meeting minutes
Marketing Support:
– Assist in creating bilingual marketing campaigns, social media posts, and email newsletters with branding and marketin team
– Assist in conducting market research to align content with target audience preferences.
– Assist the marketing team on content strategies, SEO localization, and keyword optimization.
Production Assistance:
– Work closely with the production team on scripts, project briefs, and visual content.
– Manage subtitling, voice-over coordination, or dubbing projects for video content.
– Ensure smooth communication between the teams including both internal and external.
Qualifications
– Fluency in Burmese and Thai with strong written and verbal communication skills. English is a bonus.
– Background in marketing, media production, or related fields.
-Proficiency in tools like Canva, Google docs, Google sheets.
– Knowledge of digital marketing trends and content creation workflows.
– Attention to detail, time management skills, adaptability and ability to work under pressure
