Responsibilities
- Independently create clear, concise, and useful copy for user interface that helps users complete the task at hand.
- Review analytics data and existing copies and suggest alternative copies/content to improve existing UX.
- Document your strategies with guidelines to ensure that all copy across our products is aligned, and establish best practices and strategy principles.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, legal, marketing, product managers, and engineers. Influence and adapt to stakeholders and their feedback.
- Create presentations or communications with guidelines and advocate for your copy decisions.
- Extend the global writing guidelines into the localized markets. Work with localization platforms and/or service providers to optimize the localization process and ensure high quality translations.
- Manage projects from needs assessment to implementation; identify opportunities, establish priorities, secure resources, and manage stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in content strategy, content design, UX writing, copywriting, or editorial.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing information architecture for complex documentation sets or product suites.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.
- Experience with localization and accessibility best practices.
- Portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines.

- Passion for languages with language skills in addition to required English.
- Experience in high tech, software development, education technology industries.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
