Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Vendor Manager cum Business Development Manager to join our team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone passionate about building relationships, managing resources, and driving business growth in the language services industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:Vendor Management

  1. Vendor Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified freelancers and vendors across multiple languages and skill sets.
  1. Resource Allocation:
  • Assign tasks/projects to the appropriate vendors based on their expertise and availability.
  1. Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
  1. Rate Negotiations:
  • Negotiate competitive rates with vendors while ensuring project profitability.
  1. Vendor Database Maintenance:
  • Maintain an updated database of global vendors for easy access and allocation.
  1. Training & Support:
  • Ensure vendors are well-trained on tools, guidelines, and project expectations.

Business Development

  1. Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and approach potential clients, presenting our services effectively.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business.
  1. Proposal Creation:
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and pricing based on client needs.
  1. Market Research:
  • Analyze industry trends and competitors to identify new growth opportunities.
  1. Cross-Selling & Upselling:
  • Introduce clients to additional services, maximizing revenue per account.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor resources with project requirements.
  • Resolve any vendor-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for scaling vendor and client networks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in vendor management or business development, preferably in the language services industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and vendor management platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
