We are a full-service creative digital agency. Our people, technology and insights help global media and entertainment, sports and lifestyle brands create, manage, localise, distribute and place their content, and evaluate its media reach.

LOCALISATION SERVICES

DMS delivers a full range of adaptation and localisation services to major film studios across the globe from its central London base. Our services include subtitling, dubbing, editing, colour-grading and visual effects for promotional materials to support worldwide feature film releases for use in cinema and online.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

Our Versioning Producers sit within our Client Services department and are the main contact at DMS for the local marketing teams of key global studio clients.

THE ROLE

The role sits within our growing Nordics team to provide essential content delivery and effective project management skills.A flare for languages is key providing your insight to sensitive content that is viewed by a global audience around the globe.

The role would suit someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Subtitling for a wide range of content across various mediums like TV, Film, Promotion videos, and online content.
  • Excellent communication skills, confidently interacting with clients and internal teams through face-to-face, written, and verbal means.
  • Confident in engaging with senior and junior level executives, proactively handling difficult conversations or situations as they arise.
  • Taking ownership and managing the end-to-end localization process.
  • Desirable knowledge of workflows related to the operational teams (e.g., technical operations, QC, motion graphics).
  • Demonstrating a structured and methodical approach with thorough checks to ensure mistake-free output before final delivery to clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Resilient and flexible, especially when working with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive in updating industry knowledge regarding technical specifications and bespoke delivery/IT systems.
  • Diligent in completing administrative duties, including record-keeping and billing, which are vital parts of the role.

Requirements

  • Desirable: Strong understanding of broadcast and film technical specifications
  • Experience in effectively managing key contacts
  • Fluency in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or Russian, verbal communication skills are a must
  • Advantageous: Proficient in subtitle creation and proofing with tools like WinCAPS, Swift, FAB, or EZtitles
